Itinerary

Day 1: Sydney
Arrive in Sydney and transfer to your hotel. Take time to explore Sydney or rest after your flight.
4 Night Stay: Grand Mercure Darling Harbour, 2 Bedroom Apartment

Day 2: Sydney
Today is free to explore the sights of Sydney

Day 3: Taronga Zoo
Visit Sydney’s renowned Taronga Zoo on board one of Matilda’s Executive Rockets. Your ticket includes a return cruise to Taronga Zoo from either Darling Harbour or Circular Quay and entry to the zoo. This is an ideal tour for families and you will see an array of Australian and exotic animals as you stroll through settings evoking their natural habitats.

Day 4: Sydney
Today is at your leisure. Perhaps take the ferry to Manly and spend the day at the beach. 

Day 5: Sydney – Adelaide
Today you will fly from Sydney to Adelaide where, upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is free to enjoy Adelaide

Day 6: Dolphin Swim Tour
This morning you will be picked up and transferred to Glenelg where you will spend the morning cruising on 'Temptation', while you experience this once in a lifetime opportunity to view Adelaide's wild dolphins. This afternoon you will be transferred back to Adelaide and the rest of the day is at leisure.

Day 7: Adelaide – Kangaroo Island
Depart Adelaide by air arriving on Kangaroo Island by 9.55 am. Meet your guide for an introduction to Kangaroo Island before heading out in search of wildlife encounters. Your guide will help you spot kangaroos, koalas and echidnas in the wild. A highlight today is a guided beach walk at Seal Bay, home to a colony of Australian sea lions. See these fascinating mammals up close, as they bask on the beach or in the dunes after their extensive fishing expedition. Enjoy a gourmet picnic lunch in a secluded bush location followed by a bushwalk. Then explore the stunning North Coast.

Day 8: Kangaroo Island
This morning you will discover the natural wonders of Flinders Chase National Park. See at close range the New Zealand fur seals that inhabit these waters and view the unique geological formation of Admirals Arch and the delicately balanced granite domes of the Remarkable Rocks. Enjoy a picnic lunch in a bush setting then tour the pristine wilderness by 4-wheel drive. Search for koalas in the wild and wander along secluded bush tracks and admire the pretty wilderness surrounds. By special permit, enter the spectacular Kelly Hill Conservation Park. As dusk approaches, mobs of kangaroos and other native animals move out into the open to graze. Your tour concludes in time for a 6.30pm flight to Adelaide, arriving at 7.05pm.

Day 9: Adelaide – Cairns
Take a morning flight from Adelaide to Cairns, upon arrival you will be transferred to your hotel

Day 10: Kuranda, Skyrail and Hartley’s Crocodile
Your day beings with a luxury coach transfer from your accommodation to Freshwater Railway Station for a historical rail journey to Kuranda.  Enjoy breathtaking views enroute, including the cane fields of Cairns to the tropical rainforest of Kuranda. Upon arrival in Kuranda, there is limited free time before boarding the Skyrail at 11.30am. Relax and enjoy the world's most beautiful rainforest experience. After arriving at Caravonica Lakes, your coach will collect you and transfer you to Hartley's Crocodile Adventures, the best place to see crocodiles in Tropical North Queensland.

Day 11: Cairns – Palm Cove
Today you will be transferred by coach to Palm Cove. The rest of the day is at leisure.

Day 12: Franklin Island Cruise
This lovely day tour provides you with the best of both worlds - the chance to discover the wonders of the Great Barrier Reef while relaxing on your own uninhabited island for the day. Your day begins with a leisurely cruise down the Mulgrave River and from the mouth it is only a short open-water crossing to the magical Franklin Islands. This destination is a snorkeller's dream; drift over an amazing variety of coral and marine life, including fish, sea turtles and octopus just metres from the shoreline. A sumptuous tropical buffet lunch is served on the island. There is a variety of optional tours (at your own expense) to enjoy; otherwise snorkel, discover and relax on the pristine white beach and enjoy the serenity and beauty of the Franklin Islands. L.

Days 13-14: Palm Cove
Relax and enjoy your time in Palm Cove. Spend a lazy day on the beach or simply enjoy the extensive facilities available at your resort.

Day 15: Cairns
You will be transferred to Cairns for your onward flight home.
